The super sports car EB 110 as a representative of the world’s best cars right next to the current hyper sports car Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+, in between rare classics such as the Type 30 Torpedo, Type 40 Roadster and the Type 35 as the most successful racing car ever built.
For three days 40 historic Bugatti models stood side by side in front of the Chateau in Molsheim – “finest handmade samples of top-level automobile artistry” of different epochs – a rare, very beautiful sight in the spirit of Ettore Bugatti, a lateral thinker, the founder and inventor of the French luxury sports car brand, that is still produced today at its founding location – as part of the VW Group, but still as a French luxury brand.
With the La Grande Fête Bugatti celebrates its 110th anniversary at the headquarters of today’s Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. in Molsheim, France, where Ettore Bugatti began the development and production of luxury sports cars. BCD Meetings & Events designed the anniversary event, which delighted exclusive Bugatti customers, long-time Bugatti enthusiasts, employees and the interested public with a three-day program around the legendary automotive brand.
BCD’s services included coordinating travel arrangements for participants, bookings, shuttle services, two days of exhibitions and special program events in various Bugatti buildings on the company premises and three evening events – La Grande Fête for short.
The concept developed by BCD focused the first day entirely on the Bugatti customers. The day wound up with a Welcome Evening including dinner in the Strasbourg Villa Sturm. La Grande Fête’s exhibitions and events on the Alsatian company premises marked the second day, which started with a breakfast for Bugatti customers and the Bugatti Alsace enthusiasts and ended with a gala dinner for the customers and their company.
The BCD project concept gave customers and journalists the opportunity to leisurely view the noble past and present models of handcrafted supercars on the second day. As a highlight of the celebration, Bugatti showed the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ to a select group of customers on Saturday night.
With the exhibition and events program of the La Grande Fête, Sunday was the focus for Bugatti employees, dealers, representatives, the press and the interested public. Tickets could be purchased in advance, their number limited to 700 for safety reasons. La Grande Fête concluded for the super sports car manufacturer’s employees and their company on Sunday with an exclusive evening event in the glass Bugatti Lounge.
The elegance and beauty of the luxury sports automobiles could also be admired outside the company premises, on Saturday at the Auto-Corso and on Sunday in the Jesuit Park in Molsheim. Parallel to the Grande Fête, Enthousiastes Bugatti Alsace held its annual meeting there on the last day of the Grande Fête.
