A great honor for Proske GmbH and its owner and managing director René Proske: The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) honored Proske in Washington, D.C. with the Business Travel Service Award 2020. The GBTA presents the award annually to selected members who are exceptionally active in the industry.

The award has previously been presented at the annual GBTA Convention. Due to the current Corona situation, however, this year was purely digital. René Proske, Managing Director of the global event management and marketing agency, received this year’s award in recognition of his many years of outstanding contributions to the GBTA Meeting Committee. The 2020 Business Travel Service Award also honors his leadership in the development and organization of the GBTA ITM Strategic Meetings Management Symposium

GBTA is considered the world’s leading trade organization for business travel and meetings. It is headquartered in Washington, D.C., and maintains offices on six continents for its approximately 9,000 members. GBTA members manage global business travel and meetings amounting to over $345 billion annually. The international network’s portfolio includes education, events, research, advocacy and media relations.

René Proske commented, “I am very pleased to receive such an extraordinary acknowledgement of my activities, which of course I could only accomplish with the support of my great teams in Rosenheim, Munich and New York.”

Just recently, Proske was named the first “Innovation Champion” of the Verband Deutsches Reisemanagement e. V. (VDR) for the development of the digital event platform “Proske Virtual Venue“. The launch of the upcoming “next generation” will offer dynamic content with AI support on the cloud-based SaaS platform.
